UPDATED JUN 09

We are sorry it has taken so long to update the site, but we have until very recently still been collecting in and sending off sponsorship money and therefore we would really like to thank everyone for being so generous and supportive of our challenge.

We can now say that we have raised a tremendous grand total of £7353.18, without Gift Aid;

£3814.67 for Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, £3538.51 for Cancer Research UK.  

Of course the charities have been able to collect a higher amount than this due to the Gift Aid that they can claim from the donations of those who are taxpayers, and therefore we are overjoyed to have been able to raise half again of the original target that we set ourselves at the beginning of this challenge.

As I am sure you can all imagine, it has been quite a journey for all of us and we certainly would not have been able to have done it without the support and generosity of all of our friends and family and therefore can't thank you all enough for being there at all of the parties/events and following our diary entries and photos, with such enthusiasm during, prior and after the trip.
